cos he had drug and alcohol problems so they didn't give him the job. by the way i'm watching it right now and i have come to the conclusion that T2 was the best of the three.

I watched Terminator Salvation yesterday, and it was a really good movie.
But I was a little confused on some parts, and when I asked my dad about it, he said that it's sort of too long to explain and all this happened in Terminator 2/Terminator 3 blah blah. So I'm wondering whether I should watch Terminator 2 and Terminator 3 right now?
I would suggest T1 and T2; the third movie is not vital to the story....

Terminator 3 takes place in the year 2004, which Judgment Day happens. Though in the Sarah Connor Chronicles, the show begins in the year 1999 and they leap forward to the year 2007, which completely erases T3. What the hell? I don't get this. Can someone please explain this to me?

As a continuation of Terminator 2, I personally think The Sarah Connor Chronicles is ten times better than Terminator 3. Though, I'm not really sure why. I just find the continuation to be more direct with Terminator 2. Can someone tell me why Terminator 3 sucked so much?
